Otamatsuri.Anime, made in Kenya — with the fans, for the fans.
Otamatsuri is an anime and otaku festival — and Nataka directed and produced its promo film. We shot it in Kenya with Kenyan cosplayers, prop-makers and creatives, treating the characters they grew up on like they belong in a feature film. Otamatsuri 2026 lands Sat 22 Aug at The Carnivore Grounds, Nairobi — date, tickets and countdown are all on the event page.
